It’s hard to believe that almost 5️⃣ YEARS ago, these two were getting ready to open the first Industrial Barre studio (when Industrial Barre + Ride was still just a dream). • @sarah_zeee had been teaching barre for a few years, @misti_andersen was a dedicated client. BOTH of them felt something was missing from the Barre World. They wanted a studio where the goal wasn’t to lose inches. They wanted clients to feel good about themselves. They didn’t want anyone to ever feel like they weren’t enough because they didn’t have “long, lean, dancer lines”. They set out to create a new kind of studio. One that truly focused on the values it was built on. First, they wanted to share their passion for wellness with EVERYONE. They focused on the community, remembered everyone’s name, built friendships. The classes were (and still are) all about building strength and being good neighbors. Kindness matters and the studio still believes that it’s important to be kind to yourself as well as others. Industrial Barre + Ride hopes that the values still shine through today.
